Addons are fewer than with FS9/FSX, but still many, although the payware market is pretty small yet cheap. Many users prefer X-Planes control behaviour over the one from FS9/FSX, but I am pretty sure that both are pretty similar in their realism, they just interprete the limitations of PC-Hardware differently. It also acts different in that it responds differently to control inputs. It looks different, somewhat more realistic, yet less organic. FSX is certainly capable of displaying more beautiful graphics than FS9 - if your computer is capable, too.įSX has missions, which are really great fun!Īpart from that, it is pretty similar to FS9, but overall, I like it better.īoth sport a very extensive help system and a wider range of payware and freeware addons, that are oftenly cross-compatible.
